The kitchen table is where life begins for me. It’s the birth place of dreams, ideas and collaborations.

“Vive holds a nurturing space that allowed me to relax into my body, settle my anxiety, and tune into what was really at play below the surface. A bonus was that I felt downright euphoric afterward!” - Kim Marie

Who am I to support you?

I'm a Mum, Aunty and sister, a Somatic Practitioner, artist, living in regional Western Australia.

I've spent the last 10 years training and working as a somatic practitioner, massage therapist and artist.

I weave the therapeutic approach of BodyDreaming, body work, Qi gong, and my own creative practice into my sessions and teach others about the intersection of the body + nervous system, psyche, and eros (our life force and vitality).

I've co-produced two five-day global summits on myth, somatics and depth psychology, because I genuinely can't stop being curious about this stuff.

I read tarot at my desk. I talk to my neighbour's cactus. I don't aspire to have it all figured out - I'm good with partial answers.

Here's what I do know: I don't try to fix what's unresolved in you. I treat it as intelligence and compost - the raw material your own genuine answers will grow from.

That's the work I bring into the room now. I've sat with enough people through this process to know it works. That's not a guess - that's hours spent with humans just like you.

You can save yourself years of trying on systems that feel icky and pushing through frameworks that never quite make sense in your body.

In a session, we work with what presents on the day, and we hold your body with the respect and reverence it deserves.

“Sessions with Vive have been the first time I've felt supported enough to start being instead of performing.

And seeing how that has fully integrated into how I show up in the world....speaks volumes to the value of beholding and delighting in each other's beautiful, messy completeness and letting us decide how we feel about that without the judgement of programming.

Vive is a voice of integrity and a grounded source of insight in my life and I'm so grateful for that.”

FAQ’s

BodyDreaming is an embodied therapeutic approach developed by Jungian analyst and somatics practitioner Marian Dunlea. It integrates C.G. Jung's analytical psychology with modern neuroscience, trauma therapy (such as Peter Levine's Somatic Experiencing), attachment theory, and early developmental research.

What is BodyDreaming?

1

No. Somatic sessions complement therapy beautifully but also stand alone. You don’t need to be doing any other work to benefit from this.

Do I need to be in therapy to do this?

2

A somatic approach means we focus on the body's felt sense rather than relying primarily on conversation or cognitive insight. This is a body-led approach, in which you are learning the skills needed to titrate emotional overwhelm helping to deepen your sense of rootedness in your body and our surroundings.

How is this different to other therapy?

3

What if I don’t know how to feel things in my body?

4

Totally fine. Most of us were never taught how. That’s part of what we’ll explore and practice together.
